There’s 82 million people living in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia. And according to Cushman & Wakefield, those countries are also home to 46 million square meters of modern logistics and industrial space. More than half of it (52%) is located in Poland (which has 45% of the population) while 21% of the space is Czech-based (with just 12% of the total population). Slovakia’s 7% share of the stock goes along with just 6% of the people. “Poland has recorded the greatest year-on-year increment in industrial space last year,” says Jiří Kristek . . .
