Tomáš Némethy to lead Cushman & Wakefield Slovakia

Cushman & Wakefield Tomáš Némethy as its Managing Partner in Slovakia, the latest in a series of changes it says illustrate a commitment to growth in the market. Némethy, who joined the company in 2019 as head of valuations, takes over from Marián Fridrich after five years at the helm. “The local branch is standing on strong legs and its dedicated team of real estate professionals is ready to make it grow further,” says Némethy. Prior to his switch to Cushman & Wakefield’s valuations department, worked at Tatra Banka as part of its real estate underwriting operations. His career also included a stint at CBRE’s investment and valuations teams.

Among the C&W department heads he’ll now be working closely with are Rudolf Nemec (Capital Markets) who joined recently from JLL. C&W also maintains Office, Industrial, Asset Services and Project & Development Services teams in Bratislava. Retail services will continue to be led by Jan Kotrbáček, Head of CEE Retail Agency. In all, the company has a team of 38 in Slovakia.
