The Czech residential market has been growing steadily ever since mortgage loans became widely available in the early 2000's. But it's only in the past year or so that new rental projects have taken off.

So, why now?

That was one of my main questions for the residential panel at the Prague Property Forum last week. Stan Kubáček had a couple of ready answers, which was fitting since it was his company Heimstaden whose investments basically announced the arrival of BTR in the Czech Republic.
