Martin Řezanina has assumed the role of managing director at the development company Realism in a move that sees him take over executive responsibilities from the company’s owner Martin Hubinger. Řezanina joined Realism in the summer of 2019, taking over management of its development department. His duties included expanding the team and building its analytic capabilities, formalizing internal procedures and implementing new technologies. This work led to his being named partner a year later and to taking part in key strategic decisions. Řezanina worked previously at Unibail-Rodamco on the expansions of Centrum Černý Most and Centrum Chodov and at HB Reavis in the Czech Republic.

Martin Hubinger will be leaving the day-to-day duties of running the company to Řezanina in order to focus on developing Realism’s overall vision and on investor relationships, acquisitions and team creation. “What we want is to not just to be more successful as entrepreneurs but to continually improve the company’s atmosphere and to enable us all to independently realize our personal and career goals as much as possible through the company,” he said.

Lukáš Radouš is taking over responsibilities for the development and coordination of CBRE’s project management business opportunities. With end users, landlords and even investors keen to to optimize their real estate in order to drive value, it’s a division CBRE sees as key for growth. Radouš has years of experience in the commercial real estate sectors, having cooperated with a number of international clients and led CBRE’s Czech team of 40 professionals. He’ll now be working on linking the activities of CBRE’s CEE teams, looking for new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with international and local clients. Radouš graduated from the construction faculty of the Technical University in Brno and studied construction economics and management at the Dublin Institute of Technology. He joined CBRE in 2013 and led its Project Management & Building Consultancy for the past three years.

REassurance has revealed that it appointed Katarzyna Lawinska Head of Poland in early November. MD Charles Cruden said the addition of a strong new personality to the insurance intermediary’s senior team would be welcomed by both clients and providers. It’s the boutique broker’s first hire on the Polish market as it expands its capabilities in obtaining insurance for real estate transactions across and beyond CEE. Lawinska has considerable real estate experience from previous postings at Dentons and at Baker McKenzie. Her main focus was on sales and acquisitions along with corporate matters while developing strong relationships with international funds, investors, local developers and banks.
