Gunther Mandl announced that ERSTE Realitná Renta has acquired the offices in J&T Real Estate’s Zuckermandel project. The chairman of the board of Slovenská sporiteľňa Asset Management said it was fund’s first acquisition. “Investors in our fund over the past 18 months have therefore become co-owners of one of the best office buildings in Slovakia,” he said. The 16,800 sqm building was completed in 2017 and received a BREEAM Excellent certificate. Tenants include 365.bank, EY, Baumit, KIWI.COM, Novartis, Relevans, Havel & Partners, and Maple & Fish. JTRE’s executive director Pavel Pelikán says the project has brought life to the area and now serves as a link between the historic center and the Danube embankment. “Zuckermandel confirms that for the city’s development and to promote life quality, fully functional neighborhoods are necessary. Project success is ultimately decided by project users,” he said. “The achieved yield rate set a new market record (prime yield) for office real estate in Slovakia,” said Ľubor Procházka of CBRE Slovensko, which represented JTRE.
