Komerční banka has informed labor officials that it's undertaking a CZK 76 million restructuring that will reduce the number of people it employs by 3.5%. In practical terms, that should work out to around 250 of KB's 7,200 employees getting fired, but the banks says the final number could differ because it's thinking in terms of "equivalent full-time positions." Perhaps more intriguingly, the bank says that 20% of the employees working in cancelled full-time positions will find work elsewhere in the company, primarily at headquarters.
