Construction is underway at Logport Kladno Poldi, a brownfield industrial scheme that’s being built on 15,000 sqm of land. A total of 6,000 sqm is to be built, of which the developer says 1,000 sqm will be offices created through the complete reconstruction of an existing building. Logport Development director David Vais says the project will be used for distribution, light production and storage. Work should finish up by the beginning of 2024. “The revitalization of the former Poldi Kladno complex is a key goal for the future of the entire industrial development sector in the Czech Republic,” he says. “Brownfields are exactly the place where industrial development belongs.
Crescon has kicked off construction of the 110 unit Rezidence Dolní Roztoky in Prague West, a project that includes the creation of new commercial space, a theater and a nursery school. Having already secured the construction permit, the developer expects to begin construction in the second half of the year. It’s building on an 8,400 sqm plot along Nádražní v Roztokách u Prahy street that belonged previously to a construction company. In all, six apartment buildings of six floors each will be built with units of between 30 sqm and 120 sqm. Roztoky lies to the north of Prague along the left bank of the Vltava.
