The goal of the MBARE program is to provide its students with a complete understanding of the real estate sector. During their studies, students will work on a development project for a specific location including the preparation of a business and financial plan. In the first year of the program, students focused on Dolní Vitkovice in Ostrava, while the second cohort of students worked on a location in Karlovy Vary. The past two years involved cooperation with the Prague Development Company.
During their studies, student will acquaint themselves with microeconomic and macroeconomic interconnections with the real estate market, with conditions for financing and investment all on the basis of market-based property valuation. The study program is completed through the preparation of a development project in the form of state leaving exams on an assigned project, including a presentation of the project before a commission of experts.
The MBARE project is conceived as a 4-semester program which has accreditation from the international association RICS. The program takes place remotely with a series of two-day in-person classes on Fridays and Saturdays on the VŠE campus in Prague.
