The Czech construction giant Metrostav has been brought to its knees by a corruption scandal that dates back to 2012. That's when the governor of the Central Bohemia region David Rath was caught by police getting into his car with CZK 7m in cash. Quite entertainingly, he claimed he had thought the boxes were filled with wine instead of cash.
