What crisis? NEPI Rockcastle NOI up 23%

NEPI Rockcastle's net operating income (NOI) rose 23% year-on-year for the first half of 2023 to €241 million, according to CEO Rudiger Dany. Speaking to investors, he listed growing demand from shoppers for the improvement along with better invoicing thanks to rent indexation and lowered utility costs. But new income from two shopping mall acquisitions at the end of 2022 also played a major role (in Gdansk and Torun). On a like-for-like basis (excluding the acquisitions), income rose 15%. Dany reminded listeners on the earnings webcast that malls in Romania only returned to full use . . .
