NYX Hotel Brno to open in Crestyl’s Dornych

Published: 19. 04. 2024

Crestyl has reached an agreement with Leonardo Hotels to open an NYX Hotel in its Dornych project in Brno. NYX Hotel Brno will have 170 rooms on seven storeys. The brand puts a high priority on style, something that’s seen in the room designs and the untraditional bar and restaurant on the ground floor. It’s the group’s second outlet in the country, having opened NYX Hotel Praha in 2017, “which will strengthen our European portfolio,” said Yoram Biton, director of Leonardo Hotels Central Europe. “We’re glad that we can take part in the urban development of this exciting city.”

“It means a lot to us that Leonardo Hotels picked our Dornych project for its new NYX Hotel in Brno,” said David Mazáček, acquisition director for Crestyl. “Interest in the project demonstrates that it will truly be a unique project with a combination of uses which will breathe new life into the city.” Cushman & Wakefield ran Crestyl’s tender for the hotel operator, while its legal representation in the deal was Konečný & Zacha. Leonardo Hotels was represented by Taylor Wessing Prague.

The Dornych project is made up of six buildings surrounding a partially covered public area of 25,000 sqm. Along with the new hotel, the functions will include 186 rental flats and 50,000 sqm of offices, retail and services.
