Up in smoke: Invitation to Dukovany tender unlikely for Rosatom

Last week, it still looked as if the Russian company Rosatom could be invited to take part in the upcoming tender to build a new generator block at the Dukovany nuclear power plant. Those plans went up in smoke, however, following revelations that an explosion in a military munitions facility back in 2014 was engineered by Russian spies. The Czech intelligence agency BIS has been sounding the alarm against Rosatom's participation in the Dukovany plant for months.
