Bids in for Špindlerův Mlýn’s Harmony Club Hotel

Published: 13. 12. 2023

Bids have been submitted for the huge Harmony Club Hotel in Špindlerův Mlýn in a sale that’s been handled by Knight Frank. Director Zdenka Klapalová was unwilling to share details about how many potential buyers are competing for the hotel, which offers 114 rooms. “I can only say that everything has met our expectations,” she told Hospodářské noviny. Enough bids came in for us to continue in the process. But I wouldn’t like to reveal the timeline for closing the deal. The interested parties are made up of strategic players and financial investors.”

But the paper reports that it’s clear who some of the bidders are. “I’m not hiding that we’re interested,” Čeněk Jílek of TMR International told HN. “It’s a super asset, a great hotel, a super location right along our slopes. It would definitely make sense for us.” TMR operates ski lifts in the resort town, and will be opening a new run in 2025 that would provide direct access to the hotel to skiers. The newspaper says its reporting shows that Rene Siwy (owner of the Vista Resort & Club in Prague 5) is also in the running for a deal expected to complete near the beginning of next year. The hotel is expected to sell for more than CZK 500 million.
