CTP acquires Ostrava industrial project from Bluehouse Capital

Published: 05. 04. 2023
CTP has acquired a 330,000 sqm brownfield site in the Ostrava – Hrušov district from the developer Bluehouse Capital, including a newly built 18,000 sqm warehouse building. The former chemical plant will eventually have a built capacity of 94,000 sqm. Tenants in the first building are Prosperplast, Hyundai Steel and the logistics company LogFlex. “Our long-term aim is to acquire land and projects in order to offer our clients the widest network of quality facilities to further their business development in Europe,” said Michal Felcman, Head of M&A at CTP. He said the location works because it’s near both the center of Ostrava as well as the motorway. CTP already operates two industrial parks in the vicinity: CTPark Ostrava and CTPark Ostrava Poruba.
The transaction brings CTP’s network of locations in the Czech Republic to 57. “We perceive Ostrava as a place with enormous potential, which is developing very quickly thanks to the openness of local governments and institutions,” said Vojtěch Peřka, Business Developer at CTP. JLL and CMS represented the vendor in this off-market deal.
