Lidl beats industrial developers to 130 ha plot on D5

CBRE has revealed some of the details of a monster land deal that took place in December, just in time to help out the 2020 numbers. The agency worked with the Icelandic vendor Kaupthing to offload the 1.3 million sqm plot at Exit 93 along the D5 at Nyřany. Market sources confirm that the usual industrial developers were desperate to do a deal with Kaupthing, while newcomers from abroad were keen to make the site their first significant deal on the Czech market.
