Omar Sattar has returned to the Prague office of Colliers, this time to head its real estate investment team. It’s his third stint with the company, having begun his real estate career there in the UK in 1994, before moving to Prague three years later. His second spell at Colliers came as managing director from 2011 to 2018. In the meantime, Sattar has held other significant leadership positions in CEE, including MD of DTZ – Czech Republic and investment director at Avestus Real Estate.
At the same time, Colliers announced the promotion of Miroslav Kotek to the head of its industrial real estate team. Kotek rose to the position of Head of Infrastructure at the government agency CzechInvest before joining Jones Lang LaSalle in 2007. He gained private sector experience there until 2018, when he moved to Colliers to join MD Tewfik Sabongui’s growing team.
“As part of our ongoing commitment to improving the quality of our services, it is always important that the best and most talented people are part of our teams,” said Sabongui. “It is not only their experience and expertise that is important to us, but also their values and alignment with the Colliers culture.”
