The Czech National Bank looks set to raise its base interest rates yet again tomorrow (Thursday), continuing a pattern that began at the beginning of last summer. Rates fell to just 0.25% during the pandemic, but a dangerous cocktail of public spending and supply chain disruption caused inflation to spike as life slowly returned to normal during 2021.
