In Bratislava, the construction of the SNP bridge leading to Petržalka in the 1970’s forced city planners to commit what you could describe as the city’s original sin. The ironically named Staromestskej street is really a multi-lane strip of concrete that cut through and destroyed what was once part of the city’s old town.
Now, the Metropolitan Institute of Bratislava has released plans that would see a roof put on the bridge’s noisy . . .
