The architects Jiří Opočenský and Štěpán Valouch have won an international architectural and urban planning competition for the design of the new Prague East rail terminal that will be built along the new high-speed rail corridor. A total of 21 bids were received from Czech and international studios, which was held by Správy železnic the state-owned company that maintains the country's rail network and stations.
