Concens Investments has named Tomáš Novotný as its new director, 23 years after his career in real estate began. The developer’s biggest projects to date have been the Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park and the industrial park CE Park Nošovice which is now up for expansion. Much of Novotny’s professional life has been connected with the industrial sector. Previous employers in the sector include CTP and P3 Logistic Parks. The appointment took effect in January.
Most recently, he spent 8 years with the qualified investor funds group Arete where he was on the investment board. Novotný says Concens Investment will continue to deepen its activities in the Ostrava region. “We’re looking for suitable plots for expansion in other key locations in the Czech Republic. Our goal this year is to double the number of facilities we have under management.”
The company will be unveiling the first of its new projects in April in a location that borders on its previous project Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park. Concens sold part of the asset to EQT Exeter, an American investment group, in 2021.
