Partners at the investment platform Crowdberry always said they would be open to getting involved in real estate investments, but the company's business is more opportunistic. Formed in 2015, the crowd-funding platform has gotten involved in 15 ventures for which it's raised a total of €24 million from a collection of private investors that now numbers 3,000. And it was on that basis that it was appointed last year to administer a Slovak-state seed investment fund worth €23.2m. Among other companies, that fund has backed Akular, a proptech start-up offering professional augment reality . . .
