As befitted the wonderful venue for November’s Subscribers Mixer, the topic of the 60-minute workshop that preceded the drinks was the hotel sector. David Nath (Cushman & Wakefield) presented an in-depth analysis of Europe’s hotel market and explained at least in part why investors would do well to look at cities like Prague. Erik Webb Dempsey (Julius Meinl Living) recounted the complicated path that brought The Julius Prague to life, including the challenges of securing project financing in the middle of a pandemic.
